Privacy Policy

Personally identifiable information. When you contact us or, optionally, create an account, we may collect information you provide directly — for example, your email address.

Usage data. When you use the App, we automatically collect technical information, including but not limited to IP address, device type, operating system version, in-app pages or features accessed, and the time and date of access. This data helps us diagnose problems, improve the App, and understand how features are used.

Beliefs and prompts. The text you input to generate counter-arguments is processed to produce Output. Confrontations are stored on your device by default; you can wipe them at any time from the App’s settings.

We use personal data and usage data to:

• provide, operate, and maintain the App;
• manage your account, if you create one;
• fulfill any contracts entered into with you;
• communicate with you about updates, security, support, and service-related matters;
• analyze usage trends, evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, and improve the App and our communications; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g., infrastructure hosting, crash reporting, AI model providers) under contractual obligations of confidentiality and security;
• Business partners and affiliates in connection with features they help us provide;
• Other users, but only with respect to content you explicitly choose to share — for example, exporting a Confrontation Card; and
• Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case we will provide notice consistent with applicable law.

You may delete the App’s data from your device at any time through the App’s settings. You may also request that we assist in deleting Personal Data we hold about you, or correct or update such information, by contacting us at hey@thearchmedia.io. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under applicable law (such as access, portability, restriction, or objection); we will honor such requests as required by law.

We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may retain aggregated or anonymized usage data for longer periods for security, analytics, and product improvement.

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will take steps to delete that information.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is one hundred percent secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and disclaim liability for breaches outside our reasonable control.

Your information may be transferred to — and processed in — countries other than the one in which you reside. By using the App, you consent to such transfers, subject to the protections described in this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notifying you within the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
